Unit of Finance & Buildings
Finance & Buildings’ area of responsibility covers the Danish National Archives’ finance function and its operation of buildings.
The unit has the overall responsibility for accounting, budgets and financial management and prepares information to the management, statistics and ongoing financial follow-ups in addition to analyses of the Danish National Archives’ use of resources.
Unit of Finance & Buildings manages the overview of the Danish National Archives’ financial framework in dialogue with the Ministry of Culture. In addition, Finance & Buildings is responsible for all operations-related purchases and also responds to questions concerning public procurement in general.
The unit manages the Danish National Archives’ buildings and works together with the Danish Building and Property Agency and Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
Unit of Finance & Buildings is responsible for ensuring the physical security of all the Danish National Archives’ buildings, including the operation, service and maintenance of access control systems, automated burglary alarm systems, automated fire alarm systems and CCTV surveillance.
