Opening hours

The Reading Rooms of the Archives are generally open Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

From January 4, 2010 the reading rooms at the four Provincial Archives is closed on Mondays 

Additionally, all Archives - with the exception of the Danish National Business Archives - are open on Saturdays during the winter season only. Opening hours on Saturdays may vary, but are generally also from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Restricted opening hours, and Archives which may be closed for extraordinary reasons

Please note that the opening hours at the Archives you are planning to visit could be restricted for a variety of reasons. Similarly, particular records may not be available in the Reading Rooms on certain days. You are therefore advised to check that you are not planning your visit for an official Danish holiday, or on a date when an Archive may be closed for extraordinary reasons.
